my art
There’s an artist in every one of us, some people are more artistic and others a bit less, but we all have the ability to express ourselves creatively. Art provides us with many kinds of opportunities to do so.
I was a child when I first stepped into the world of art. I graduated from Tartu Art Gymnasium in 1997, but my first art teachers were my grandmother Lehte Taul and grandfather Johannes Taul. They both had studied in Tartu Art Institute as it was known then and taught me how to use the pencil and paintbrush when I was still a young child.
These days I paint and draw. I have used my own drawings as my CD cover illustrations. I illustrate books, using ink pen and watercolor mixed technique, but sometimes, when I find it suitable or the client wants me to, I use just an ink pen-marker. I also paint furniture and murals. I use chalk paint on furniture and casein paint or acrylic paint in murals.
